Transform your kitchen waste into nutrient-rich compost with the Urbalive Wormery. This stylish unit includes everything you need to start your worm composting journey. Conveniently collect the vermicompost made by the worms in trays, each holding up to 10 litres.
Easily drain and collect the liquid worm tea for use as a fertiliser. Perfect for indoor or outdoor use!
What to Put In:
- Leftover fruit and vegetable peels
- Tea bags, coffee grounds
- Crushed eggshells
- Paper napkins
- Damp paper cartons and cardboard
What Not to Put In:
- Excessive amounts of citrus
- Meat products including bones
- Oil, lard, and other fats
Optimal conditions for happy worms include shelter, such as a garden shed, garage, or greenhouse, or a cozy spot near your kitchen door - although if you decide to park your Urbalive outside, be sure to provide a cozy Tarpaulin covering for protection!
