Some jobs around the house and garden can be a bit messy – you want to protect your hands but don’t want to use disposable gloves or ruin your favourite gardening gloves if you can help it.
That's where Glovelee compostable gloves can help!
Supplied in their own compostable packaging, the come in packs of 100 and are ideal for so many messy tasks:
Composting jobs – handling compost, bokashi bins, harvesting wormeries, worm casts etc.
Light gardening jobs – collecting leaves, picking up grass cuttings, cleaning out the rabbit hutch etc.
Food preparation – handling chillies, meat, fish etc, messy baking jobs.
We tried them and found them extremely useful for handling compost and grass mowings, chopping chillies and making sticky buns. Very handy, you could say!
Then we added them to a Green Johanna composter for guilt-free disposal and found they broke down quickly.
The Glovelee are latex-free and powder-free so ideal for people with allergies. They are made from 100% compostable material (the same material as the home compostable liners/bags used in food waste caddies) and are suitable for home and industrial composting.
NOTE: Only for use handling organic items – i.e. food stuffs, garden waste, paper waste, animal waste from herbivore pets – which are suitable to add to a composter.
