The Urbalive Wormery efficiently converts kitchen waste into nutrient-rich compost for your plants. Comes with trays for easy collection of worm casts and a tap to collect liquid worm tea as fertilizer.
Great for homes, schools or workplaces, this stylish unit comes in 4 colour options.
What to Put In:
- Leftover fruit and vegetable peels
- Tea bags, coffee grounds
- Crushed eggshells
- Paper napkins
- Damp paper cartons and cardboard
What Not to Put In:
- Excessive amounts of citrus
- Meat products including bones
- Oil, lard, and other fats
Worms work best in sheltered conditions so if possible the best places to site the kit are garden shed, garage or greenhouse, or in a sheltered location near the kitchen door - if you wish to leave your Urbalive outside please cover with a Tarpaulin or similar.
