Bokashi Bins & Bran
Bokashi is a great way to turn your food waste into a compostable medium in just a few simple steps.
Add your food waste to the Bokashi Bin, adding Bokashi Bran each time
Keep adding waste until the bin is full, remembering to push down all the waste to eliminate air, and drain off any liquid every 2-3 days. This can be used diluted 1:10 as a plant food or neat as a way to reduce smells in your drains!
Once full, set to one side to 'mature' for 2 weeks, draining liquid every couple of days.
After 2 weeks, the contents should transform into 'pre-compost' which can either be added to your regular compost bin outside, or buried into the ground to complete the process of breaking down.
