This Base Plate will help to keep your Blackwall Compost Converter aerated and stable. The circular, fanned design allows for consistent airflow, whilst the holes improve drainage.
This product is specifically designed to fit seamlessly with the Blackwall 220 and 330 litre Compost Converters and can be used to place the compost bin on solid surfaces. It will not fit any other model or brand of compost bin.
We recommend purchasing this item if citing your compost bin on concrete, paving or decking. This will allow drainage of compost leachate, as well as giving easy access to organisms which help with the composting process.
