UK compost championship
Ever wondered just how nutrient-rich your compost is? Our friends at Soil Ecology Lab are experts in breaking it down and to encourage a bit of healthy competition, have launched the UK's first Compost Cup!
A competition entry fee covers the science bit (in depth lab analysis) and in return you'll receive detailed information about your submission as well as access to Soil Ecology Lab's weekly Zoom compost chats where you can talk with experts about all things composting.
After each round, a prize will be given to the producer of the 'best' compost and at the end of the year, the overall winner will be crowned as the first UK Compost Champion!
We'll be proudly donating one of the prizes so if you're competitive about your compost, roll up your sleeves and get involved! And if you're not ready to put your compost under the microscope, it would be a great gift for the serious composter in your life!
